Sedona Nov. 2011 Soothe Your Soul

Hello there!

Finally back to the east coast and back to reality after a four day trip to Arizona last weekend. I participated as one of the facilitators for the Soothe Your Soul Sedona retreat, which included a full day of workshops and a Vortex hike in Boynton Canyon. I enjoyed meeting some really new and amazing people over the weekend. Including the other three facilitators that I was meeting for the first time Jenn Prothero, Helena Mazzariello, and Rhoda. As always, I got to see my wonderful friend and fellow Goddess Diana Dorell who put together this event with the help of Dorel Vanegas.

Many women traveled from all over the country and including some from Canada and Bermuda, it was truly a great weekend connecting with so many new faces who are also along a similar spiritual path. You never know what someone else's experience may bring you or what new insights you could gain through sharing. A lot of people's stories touched me this weekend and I truly felt grateful for being a part of their spiritual journey.

For the first time I got to teach a class on Dreams and interpreting them! I never thought I would teach people about dreams, I have been investigating dreams and the dream world my whole life. It's a part of me that has always been natural and I have always felt that my own dreams have guided me in my waking life. I have stumbled upon many people in my life who have always confided in me about their dreams and naturally I just started interpreting their dreams for them and over time I have built my own language of symbols and images.

I'm truly blessed to be a channel and to teach people about what I've learned through the other side. My master teachers and guides from the other side have truly helped me to get to where I am now in my life, hearing them since I was young have allowed me to intuitively know where my next step will be. I never look at my overall future, being a Clairvoyant I get glimpses of my own future but as always we choose our destiny. We must stay present and not jump too far ahead into the future, enjoy the journey!

The workshops were dedicated to women opening up to their intuition, learning to trust the messages they receive, learning to release and forgiveness, techniques for meditation and healing, numerology and lifepath and purpose, and also learning to analyze their own dreams.

I realized something truly incredible during this trip, is that I want to continue on the path of teaching others what I've learned in both my Psychic/Spiritual development and also in my career as an artist. I realized how much I loved doing readings for people and witnessing them gaining clarity in our sessions. Out of divine synchronicity I sat and met with a lady on the plane who was a Career Development professor for the past 20+ plus years on my flight to Phoenix. We had a great time chatting and exchanged numbers and planned to meet up back in NJ. Then on the way back I saw her again on the same flight back to Newark and sat next to her again! It was meant to be!

I also learned an important thing this weekend: Everything is about Timing. The first part of the trip was a day spent in Scottsdale at Diana's place and Jenn and I watched the Coco Chanel movie, the one with Shirley Mclane. I thought it was amazing that the message I took from the movie was about timing. When Coco first built her business and her lover Guy was in London having a book release party, she didn't attend and ended up being busy and working at her shop. He then met another woman at his party with whom the newspapers gossiped about being his girlfriend. Well he ends up marrying her, Timing. She was at the right place and at the right time and Chanel wasn't. She lost her lover after that. Its pretty interesting why out of all the movies my friend Diana had at her place, I decided to watch that one! Messages come to us in so many different forms. I know that things in our life are all about Timing. Preparing, having luck and the right opportunity to come into our lives.

Anyway, I should stop rambling! Godspeed!

Here are some of the pics I took during my Phoenix - Sedona trip over the weekend.

  1. Great movie. Great song; very uplifting and spiritual. Can you tell me what the name of the sond is? This movie has inspired me to do more with my photography.

  2. My approach to spiritual retreats is to not manage the retreat. On the surface it sounds strange, but I continue to go deeper with this idea or non-idea of non-management here in the Magic Kingdom and in my own life. What does it mean? To not do the work with clients out of a model but to let go and open to Spirit or my own wisdom for direction and guidance. To not respond to clients questions from my memory but to open to my wisdom and let the response come from there. It takes patience and faith.
